I have not too thick, waist length, silky hair.
The straightener is great. I use it to create soft curls rather than as a straightener.
I have never had my hair burnt or anything...the temperature settings are perfect.
Also it is nicely built so that you dont accidentally burn you hand or ear.
Great purchase for the price. |

| For 20 bucks it's a nice straightener. For full price, nah. It's OK. It glides nice on your hair, I'll give it that. It does a good job of straightening, but not any better than my regular metal iron. |

| Great flat iron. I've used more expensive ones that didn't work half as well. I have very tight curls and this iron gets my hair pin straight, and never any static problems. Going out in the rain and humidity has not given me a bit a trouble. I'm ordering another one for backup and also one for a fellow curly haired coworker. Buy it, you won't be sorry. |

| My older sister has this flat iron, and it was so great that I bought another one for our other sister as a birthday present. At first, I was a little hesistant because I hadn't heard of the brand before, but it really gets the job done (better than the iron from a well-known brand too). Yes, it gets pretty hot, but thats what you want right? Just be careful(: All in all, for the price that it is, this iron is really good, and I recommend it to everyone. |

| I have very curly hair, and have only been able to get my hair completely straight a few times in my life. It usually requires lots of smoothing serum, and using one of my friend's pricey Chi straightners. It always takes at least an hour to get it somewhat straight so it's never been worth the effort to me. After finding this one on , and seeing the price and reading the reviews I had to order one. It arrived in 3 days and I decided to "play" with it that night before going to dinner with my family. To my amazement, it COMPLETELY straightened my hair in about 15 minutes!! I was blown away! I used no smoothing products, and only had to go over most pieces once. I had to go over some of the curlier areas a few times, but I still have NEVER gotten my hair this straight in such a short amount of time! My family was so surprised when I showed up at dinner with smooth, straight hair! It's nice to finally have options for different hair styles after 28 years of curls. I love this product and wish it would stop raining so I can use it again!! :) |
