| I love the Hair Balm. It's not really for moisturizing, but it gives your hair amazing shine! And I believe it softens your hair. A very little goes a looonnnggg way. In fact, I might use a dime size amount for my entire head. Just squirt a drop, rub it between your hands and rub through. I use it on my little man's hair, too :) The smell reminds me of old school hair dress or "grease" but it's not a strong scent and wears off. I use it for adding shine to 2nd or 3rd day curls. |

| I have very thick, but, fine hair. So, most cremes and oils tend to weigh my hair down. I purchased Hair Balm and used it on a rainy day just as my hair was about to revert. I smoothed a tiny bit on my hair...the reversion stopped and my hair was shiny and still bouncy without the weight. This product is awesome...remember a little goes a long way. |

| I purchased the Hair Balm along with three other Carol's Daughter products. this one is by far the best. I like the smell, and when I brush it into my dry hair before wrapping it for the evening, my hair is noticeably softer in the morning. I would buy this again, and maybe give the hair elixir a try as well. |

| CD's Hair Balm is a great finishing product. I bought this while waiting on my regular hair product (Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream) to arrive. When I used this product alone, my hair was hard and dry and I was quite disappointed. Once my regular hair product arrived, I decided to give the Hair Balm another chance, but decided to use it in a different way. I applied my regular hair moisturizer (Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream)and then applied a small amount of the Hair Balm. The result was wonderful. My hair had a nice shine without being greasy. I am not crazy about the scent - too heavy for my taste, but a little bit goes a long way. This product is great for natural hair. |

I have not tried this product on my hair straightened, but when I wear my natural curls (when it looks driest) and apply to my hair after it air dries, it keeps it very shiny, moist, and soft. My hair is still bouncy. It also works well in dreadlocks.
UPDATE: I tried it on my hair straightened. I did not use it in the straightening process as I only used the CD mimosa hair honey only on the ends. But I did put a just a little hair balm on it and wrapped it before bed. Very soft the next day and not heavy at all. Now, I am playing with this product to see just how often I need to do it. |
