I LOVE this product. I use the medium tan which is perfect year round in the sunny climate that I live in. It gives very nice coverage and gives my skin a nice smooth appearance. The only issue is, is that I am a little clumsy when in a hurry and tend to spill a little of it when not careful which is not difficult to do.
I also love that it's good for your skin. I've had very few breakouts since using this product. |

This is a great product for people who are looking for a make-up with a natural look. I have had trouble with my skin for many years, and of all the foundations I have used bareminerals seems to irritate my skin the least. It gives a natural look and a luminosity that is hard to find with other make-ups.
Now given that I have had skin problems and still continue to have break-outs (although much less now that I have started using this product), I still give this product 5 stars because I have never been so satisfied with any make-up before in my life - although it is definitely no miracle!
I still use a coverup stick to cover up break-outs or red spots before applying the bareminerals powder. I have also found that if you use a bit of the powder concentrated on the tip of a sponge or Q-tip and apply it directly to a blemish that it will give a bit more coverage. In general I apply the powder more than once a day. I also wear sunscreen on my face every day, and I have to make sure that the sunscreen completely dries before I apply the powder or I do get a cakey look. Yet when I follow all my own advice, the makeup gives a beautiful look that is hard to mimic with any other product. I feel like I am wearing no makeup, and people comment on how good my skin looks - which is amazing for me to hear considering how sensitive and break-out prone my skin really is! |

| I REALLY wanted to love this product. I have dry/sensitive skin and rosacea. I would pay any amount of money for a product that would cover the redness without irritating my skin. This product does provide good coverage once you master the application which I found to be messy. The brush sheds a lot and in spite of the swirl, tap, buff process a cloud of minerals was always kicked up which was not good for contact lense wearers. I resolved to close my eyes and carry on, however, because I thought this would be my miracle product. Unfortunately, it only accentuated my dryness which revealed lines I truly did not even know were there. It made my pores look enormous as well. Yes, it did look natural...unfortunately that's not a good look for me. If you have beautiful skin or even oily skin, you might like this product. It looked amazing on the sales woman. I think you have to try it for yourself to find out. I'd buy it at a counter that accepts returns if it doesn't work for you! I will say, I love the eyebrow kit and lipgloss. |

| This powder was just a disaster for me. It made my face very itchy, and gave me the absolute worst breakouts of my life. I still have the scars from them, two years later. I wouldn't recommend this product, especially to anyone with sensitive skin. |

I used to use this product before Peri-menopause hit and yes it does work the way everyone says it does.
The pros: 1)Helps clear acne- They cannot support that claim but many woman , including me have said it cleared their face from acne.
2)Is easy to apply. I never needed a mirror when I used Bare Minerals. It's that easy.
3)Even natural look
4)Great make-up for teens to start using .
5) Cost efficient.
6)Last along time even w/ everyday use.
The Cons:
1) Can get messy if you are not really careful.
2)does not have a good staying power.
3)not enough color variations.
4)Coverage is sheer to light and if you go to far , it looks bad and you can tell.
5)Not good for dry skin. Once I hit Peri-menopause, I could no longer use this product . My skin had dried somewhat and this product was making it worse.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn how to apply make-up correctly. I learned how to apply liner this way and had never worn it before because I didn't know how to apply it correctly.
I would recommend this for anyone w/ acne or sensitive skin. It doesn't irritate the skin and can clear it up.
Great for teens and their starter kit and other kits make it a great value for beginners or pros. |
